About MeMy professional acting career began back in 1999 when I made my debut playing the role of 'Mally' in the film "Purely Belter" directed by Mark Herman.
I studied at Newcastle College for 4 years and graduated with a National Diploma in Performing Arts, and a Higher National Diploma in Musical Theatre. I went on to study at Sunderland University and graduated in 2004 with a BA Hons in Performing Arts. Over the past 23 years I have performed a variety of different roles on both stage and screen. I'm probably best known for my comic role in the Tyne Theatre Pantomime each year. Some of my other credits include; Sorry We Missed You (Feature Film), The Duke (Feature Film), Pot Noodle Commercials, Moneysupermarket Commercial, Inspector George Gently (BBC), Joe Maddison’s War (ITV), The LAST SHIP (Musical UK & Eire Tour 2018), Danny & Mick (BBC).) As well as working as a professional actor, I also deliver 'Drama Based Training' for a company called Just DBT. We specialise in 'Behavioural Safety' and 'Communication Training for the Oil, Gas & Renewable Energy Sectors, as well as organisations like the NHS and locals Councils. I'm proud too also to have my own production company called Quayside Productions Ltd. Alongside my business partners, our aim is to produce work in our region and for the people of our region. |
